Lisbon doesn’t need perfect words to be understood — it speaks through feeling, light, and silence between moments. It’s a city where time seems to soften, where even ordinary streets carry a quiet sense of meaning.
I Love Lisbon is a project created to help curious travelers discover the city in a more real, practical, and useful way. Instead of overwhelming lists or generic travel advice, the focus is on clear, well-structured information about Lisbon — from where to stay and what to do, to where to eat and how to experience the city like a local.
The idea behind the project is simple: make it easier for visitors to understand Lisbon beyond the surface, and help them make better choices while exploring the city.
This project is also built from real experience. I’m an immigrant who has been living in Lisbon for the past 5 years, and over time I’ve had the chance to learn how the city really works — not just as a visitor, but as someone who lives here day to day. That perspective helps bring a more practical and realistic view of Lisbon, especially for travelers who want more than just tourist information.
At its core, I Love Lisbon is about sharing the city in a way that is honest, useful, and grounded in real experience — helping visitors connect with Lisbon in a deeper and more meaningful way.
